Adorable Sphynx Kitty Is Famous For Looking So Much Like A Bat

All cats are unique, but you can’t miss the Sphynx. These cats are special and a very fascinating breed of cat. You can easily see that they stand out of the rest.

Meet Lucy! A sphynx that stands out from the rest.

Lucy is a very special cat with a rare neurological condition. This is due to build-up of fluid in her brain called hydrocephalus.

Zilla Bergamini first noticed the cat when she was looking at a litter of sphynx kittens in a video. The cat seemed a little different from the rest of the litter. Zilla instantly fell in love with the cat who had adorable different qualities.

The Sphynx not worth performing the surgery on!

Even though the cat had a little rough beginning, Lucy is living her best life due the support and love of Zilla. She made the right choice even when her friend made her wait three days before adopting the cat. Zilla made the best use of her time and researched more about hydrocephalus.

During an interview, Zilla said,

I began reading everything I could about hydrocephalus and all possible outcomes. I looked for the best veterinarian neurological center in the country and I already started setting up a fund to pay for her surgery—if needed—or medication.

Zilla already had two other rescue cats before she decided to bring Lucy home. Nothing related to Lucy’s future was certain and Zilla was very nervous about the entire situation. During her earlier days, Lucy was very fragile and she would cry constantly.

Lucy hadn’t had a bowel moment since a few days. But when Zilla took Lucy to the vet, she was told that Lucy was probably hiding her poop as her stomach was empty. She also told Zilla that Lucy would need eye drops for the rest of her life.

Zilla also reached out to another vet and decided not to give up on the cat. Lucy is totally sweet and adorable cat. Due to Zilla’s constant care and love, Lucy is doing great.
